A Swimming Instructor For All Levels

Having taught swimming lessons for more than 25 years, Katie has worked hard to create the best practices to teach your child to swim.  Katie believes any child over the age of two is capable of learning how to swim safely.

Registration for existing Kicking with Katie swimmers (and siblings) will begin on January 29th at 5:00 p.m.  Be sure to check your email for a link to register.  If you do not receive an email, please email me at

New swimmer registration will begin here on the website as soon as the clock strikes February 1st (so technically the evening of January 31st).

Registration will be $350 per child.  Beginner classes will have 4 swimmers per session and Intermediate will have 6.  Payment plans will be available.  Sessions are one week and either will be four 60 minute classes or five 45 minute classes.  The minimum age is 2.
Don't delay!  In the past, sessions fill up quickly.

For more information, be sure to review the FAQ section.  Updated schedule information will be posted via our Facebook page

If you would like to be reminded via email to register and get schedule information early, please fill out the form below.

An email will be sent reminding you to register closer to the registration date.

Classes are now available for Registration under the Register tab.
Waitlisted classes are full and openings will only become available if someone cancels.
Beginner classes have 4 swimmers and Intermediate classes have 6.

For the 2023 season, each week of classes is $350 per child.
Lessons are for one week.  The same 45 minutes every day for a week.

If your child can swim across the pool multiple times without touching the pool floor or stopping to hold the wall, they are ready for this class.  Katie will work on your swimmer to improve their stroke form and teach more advanced strokes and skills.  If you have doubt about whether your child is ready for this class, please sign them up for the beginner class.

In this class for your youngest swimmers, Katie's goal is to teach your child to swim independently at least 10 feet.  The purpose of this class is to teach your child to swim safely and how to get to the side of the pool when necessary.  Children will be required to put their faces in the water.

Katie got my 5 year old out of his puddle jumper and swimming across the pool unassisted after 5 days of lessons! This was after 3 years of lessons at the YMCA. No comparison!
